I'lam supporting "Media Campaign"
2013-06-16
On May 28th of this year I'Lam presented certificates to the thirty participants of its two "Media Campaign Workshop"s. Throughout the twelve meetings — all of which took place in either Nazareth or Acre — six groups of five people completed their own separate campaign designs highlighting one of six challenges facing the Palestinian community in Israel: sexual harassment ("Anti Sexual Harassment Campaign"), unfair airport profiling ("Arabs and Ben Gurion Airport"), peril of heritage ("Heritage in Danger Campaign"), lack of future planning among many in the workforce ("Investigating Pension Funds Campaign"), renaming of Palestinian cities ("Ma Asmhash Hek"), and the need for a politically active youth ("Volunteerism and Youth Leadership Campaign. I'Lam intends to publish each campaign once suitable, i.e. once a conflict arises regarding one of the issues covered.
