I’lam is currently in the midst of its Debate, Simulation, and Oratory project, in collaboration with the Hans Seidel Foundation. This second installment of the project follows in the success of the first competition, which ended on May 27th.
I’lam has issued a report on the increase in racially motivated incitement to hate and violence on social media against Israel’s Arab community in the wake of the recent wave of fires throughout Israel.
The third and final event of the Oratory competition took place on Friday, November 11th at I’lam’s offices in Nazareth. The 16 participants conducted a debate simulating the perspectives of the Knesset’s Education Committee members.
